Turn the Towns Teal Ribbons Stapled to Trees

Here's a new one....arrived home and saw all the trees had ribbons stapled to them to promote awareness of ovarian cancer.

I removed many of them and saw others that were just thrown on the ground. How do we stop this? If everyone thinks that you can simply
staple advertisements to the trees, they are going to be a full of them in no time. Charity or not, nothing should get stapled to a tree.
