Its like those "Its free if you finish it" giant steaks. If a single person downs the whole pitcher and can walk out it its $3 but if you fail its $30. Or whatever they can take off your drunk passed out person.

I love it when I go by some nights and the techno is blaring like it's old city, the disco ball and laser lights are making even the outside light up... and then you walk by and it is just a few 80 year olds sitting at the bar with a bartender that looks like a semi-retired stripper from ozz.

I pass by there a couple of times a day, going to work, the store, or wherever. It's nice to have a reminder of what it's like to be truly depressed and at rock-bottom. No matter how tough a day at work I'm having, no matter how long the lines are at Super Fresh or the liquor store, no matter how bad things get, at least I'm not sitting in Wonder Years drinking $3 pitchers of Jack Daniels.
