If you live anywhere near this eyesore at 49th and Market, you've seen the bright yellow signs pointing you toward the brick warehouse building on every street corner. They're very high up (higher than most other signs I see) and have been around as long as I've lived in the area. I can't believe the city allows a single business to put up so many signs. Imagine if every business put up signs on the surrounding blocks pointing customers to their store? The funny thing is that Nutter recently forced Forman Mills to paint their West Philly store biege (it used to be neon yellow) to "blend in" better...but the issue of the signs didn't come up, as far as I know.
I reported a few of the signs to banditproject.org, then used the contact form on the Forman Mills website to inform them that they've been reported and ask them to remove the signs, per city code. If you live in the area, please do the same. Who knows, maybe they will voluntarily take them down (one can always hope).
