Default With Art Philadelphia Debuts as Philly becomes an Arts Destination

It was teased in the Knights grant I posted two days ago, but now its official: 'With Love' first spin off campaign: 'With Art':

With Art Philadelphia | Uwishunu - Philadelphia Blog About Things to Do, Events, Restaurants, Food, Nightlife and More

I love 'With Love' so I can't wait to see what 'With Art' will come up with as 2012 becomes the premiere year for Philadelphia arts leading into the big 2013 year.

    1) How is this any different than "You're going to love the arts in Philadelphia"

    2) If you have to really drive home the point you're an arts destination you're really not one.

    a. It took you no time to come in and dump on this.

    b. For some, the idea that this is a sports destination is what rings true; the dollars and cents of what the arts actually mean to Philadelphia bear out that this really is an arts destination.

You really can't see the difference between this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpF3Wz5R6G8, one of many 30-second spots, and a piece that is over 4 minutes long, and spends approximately 30+ seconds on the Barnes Foundation's move to the Parkway??? Sorry, then I am afraid no one has answers for you.

In reality yes. In fact I told someone about it over lunch today and he is actually going to go this weekend.
The more you speak, the more poo seems to appear. Maybe thats why you think the doggy stations in OC are ineffective. As soon as you open your mouth, poo is everywhere.

Locals? Most know. The cognoscenti of the art world? They know too. This is designed not for the local market, but for those outside of it who don't really know what a treasure trove of culture actually exists here. You would begrudge them that?

I believe this type of marketing is outdated considering the power of the internet and social media.

Ignoring 2. because even though Everyone Knows We're History, we still market that too, thus rendering your assertion moot. Shoot, people know about New York, and that city has a tourism promotion agency too (NYCvisit.com, IIRC).

The "You're going to love the arts in Philadelphia" TV spots are aimed at the locals. They have never been distributed beyond the local media market. This is different just for being aimed at outsiders if nothing else at all.

Not 100%, but I know that the GPTMC is not behind those spots, so I strongly suspect so.

In fact, after Googling the website of the local foundation that IS behind the campaign, I AM certain of this:
