    Default Apartment Search

Can anyone recommend a good resource for finding an apartment/house rental in Center City? Is there one property management company that's good? Craig's List just isn't working for me. Let me know. I'm in the Bay Area and may be relocating to Center City this summer (I previously lived in Mount Airy for 10 years before moving west). Thanks!

Have you tried: Padmapper.com nice interface, makes it easy to see where properties are.

Padmapper mainly pulls from craigslist. I found Realtor.com and trulia.com helpful, especially their ipad apps.

Both Penn and Jefferson have off-campus web sites, which lists apartments in center city. Google "University of Penn and Jefferson off- campus housing for the links

My former landlord has a lot of apartments in Center City, and some in Bella Vista/Queen Village, and he prices them very reasonably. Try Washington Square Realty at (215) 545-4200. Good luck.

Zillow is really great too, I'm discovering.

I had the best luck with cbpref.com - the way they allow you to set up specified searches and received daily alerts for new listing and price changes was a HUGE help in our search. FWIW, I never did business with a CB firm, just used the tools on the site.

I liked my old landlord, Sentrum Services. MPN does most of their leasing: philadelphia all housing classifieds "mpn" - craigslist.

Congrats on moving back to the good part of the country.
