Default Intersection of 26th and Master

Those of you who utilize the Athletic Square Park may be familiar with this intersection. It's one of the few of the neighborhood streets that utilize a traffic signal instead of a stop sign. Unfortunately due to this, motorists try to hit the green and reach speeds upwards of 40-45mph at the park entrance to the pool, baseball field, and playground. We've seen enough near misses to know that this isn't the appropriate setup for this corner of the park. I have posted an issue on SeeClickFix, I would appreciate it if you could please click the vote button on the site if you also find this to be an issue. Additionally, if you have any experiences as a pedestrian at this intersection, I would appreciate it if you could post it in the comments section so that 311 is aware of the risk of this current installation.

In the coming days I will be creating a letter to the Streets Department regarding this issue, if you live in the community and are interested in signing this, please let me know.

You should come to the Civic Association meeting Thursday to discuss this.
