Default Fresh Flower Bouquets Available on Girard Avenue in Brewerytown

I wanted to let Brewerytown residents (and surrounding Sharswood, Fairmount and beyond) know that fresh flower bouquets are now available for sale at Best In Show Grooming Salon at 2708 West Girard Avenue.

What? Flowers in a dog/cat grooming shop? Yes, I have a great display window, I like flowers, there are no fresh flowers available in Brewerytown, and who couldn't use another income stream to help pay bills?

Please note: I am VERY new to the flower industry, and am NOT a professional florist. I'm starting off very small...just three varieties of bouquets, ranging from $7 to $10 each. However, if the community responds positively, and the bouquets sell out on a consistent basis, I hope to expand into custom bouquets, flower bunches, plants, and/or anything else the community would like.

So, please stop by and check out the flowers. Let me know what you think. We're open every day of the week, so if you want to take flowers to a colleague at the office, or bring them home to a loved one, we'll be here.

    Thank you,

    Tim

Thank you; I'd much rather have you buy from me, too. Anyways, I think the answer is "yes" if I buy individual bunches of flowers, then put them together into bouquets. Using this method, I can control the cost (number of stems/type of flowers in each bouquet), then mark up as appropriate.

My current selection of flowers is three pre-made varieties of bouquets. They're very pretty (in my opinion), very high quality flowers...it's basically a turnkey operation for me, however, this particular batch is not priced to sell retail at $4. However, I will definitely look into that with my distributor.

As I said in my initial comment, this is new to me, I will need to play around a bit to see what works and what doesn't. Customer feedback is critical.

What I would suggest is please stop by and see what I have. Let me know how my flowers compare to what you pick up at Trader Joe's. I may even sell you my $7 bouquet for $4.

Yes...probably the same selection (bouquets of mixed flowers/greens) as the ones currently in my window, however, I may pick up some more between now and Saturday.
