Development in Brewerytown

We've seen a thread in the Francisville section of Philadelphia Speaks with the same title as this one, and thought it would be useful to have a single "catch all" thread for people to comment about development happening in our neighborhood. Please use this thread to comment on any and all development in Brewerytown - new construction, rehabs, new retail/ commercial activity, general improvements happening in the neighborhood, what's happening at the Master Street Farm, etc.

We'll start this thread off with the good news news that the North 28 modular set will be occurring, weather permitting, next week, January 9th-13th. In fact, the boxes are being delivered over the next few days, and stored over the weekend at the vacant 27th & Girard site. This will be quite a sight to see, as an 18,000 SF building is assembled, Lego-style, via 27 +/- 15' x 60' modular boxes in very short order.

North 28 consists of three 1 bedroom units, +/- 660 SF, and twelve 2 bedroom 2 bathroom units +/- 1100 SF. Each unit includes a gated on-site parking space. The 1 bedroom units will sell for below $200,000, and the 2 bedroom units will sell for below $300,000. There are no other comparable new construction condominiums in such close vicinity to Center City with the level of finishes offered by North 28.
