This is a late reply but they are scum suckers- membership of this corporation seems to have changed but at one time Dean Ross was the single member and now Mikael James is claiming to be the single member via new operating agreement from April 2011. In either case, their properties are being foreclosed left and right and with the in-fighting between members of St. Charles, the situation is unlikely to improve. I have contact information for these guys if you still need it.

St. Charles Place LLC owns a home on my block that was foreclosed on about 1 year ago and put up for auction. St Charles found a way to get back in. The house was orange-sticker tagged (unfit for occupants) by L&I 3 months ago, as the house has raw sewage in the basement-St. Charles told the tenants that they will not fix the problem. To make matters worse, the water company will not turn off service, for children occupy the home. Honestly, I feel horrible for the tenants, who are likely squatting at this point with no rent.

According to L&I (who has made their 3 visits), the city will now take St. Charles to court. But, let's be honest here, since taking ownership in 2006, St Charles has not paid their taxes, so I doubt anything will be done to revoke this this horrible company's license.
