Looks like this power outage may have been larger than reported, but I'm assuming it's related.

That's about when our power went out. So, I'd bet it was related. It was strange - there were home on our block which still had power and all of 29th btw Stiles and Thompson was completely out

All the way down to Pennsylvania and along Poplar from 28th to at least Sedgeley.

Only about 45 minutes total, but a bit startling. I did notice that the traffic light on the corner of 29th & Poplar looked like it had been hit, but I didn't hear anything last night.

29th and 30th, plus parts of Poplar and Girard, were also dark.

When we lost power I turned on my police scanner and heard all the talk about the train derailment, so I thought that caused it at first. Guess not. Busy night.

Hopefully the pole that was hit wasn't caused BY the outage killing the signal lights! I saw it this morning, too, and some of the connecting wires above have been pulled from their binds (or whatever they call them) so I'm going to call Peco about it anyway.
