true, but since the lx3 is half the price (almost) you could technically buy a second LX3 if it should crap out after the warranty for the same price as the Leica

haven't seen the jpg output but I don't doubt that the quality from the Leica is tops in it's class. I was really hoping the EP1 would come in under the Leica in price. but then again i can't believe the recent burst in lx3 popularity. it's been on my wish list for months and was in stock everywhere, now seems it's hard to come by. since the LX3k has come out the used prices of the lx3 haven't dropped at all. assuming you can find someone willing to part with it.
