You can get a D-LUX 4 for a little cheaper than that. There are two things that separate the D-Lux 4 and the LX3. First you can upgrade the D-Lux 4's warranty to 3 years for free online compared to the LX3's one year. The second is for those who shoot jpeg, the D-Lux 4 jpeg's are the best I have ever seen in a compact camera and even in most dslrs.
